I am giving 10/10 because for a 2-star hotel, it has everything you need. What you paid for, you got it. Room is renovated comparing to the pictures presented here, and quite all of the furniture is from Ikea, so it is ‘globally’ known type of a comfort. It is not small, compared to other single rooms in London (been in 3 hotels before). It is clean, they make up rooms on a daily basis. Staff was very friendly. I would definitely use this hotel again, as it is a good value. My room was on the ground floor, looking at the street. It is not busy by night, although near a main train station, it is a quiet street, the rush hours start at around 7am. The only thing to mention are a little thin walls, but nothing strange for an old building.

The room was a good size. I stayed on the second floor and there is a lift. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean with space to hang clothes and a tv that worked fine. The WIFI was also very good. The room had a kettle with tea and coffee, and this was topped up by the housekeeping staff the next day. Bathroom was fine if a little cramped. The hotel is about 5-10 minutes walk from Kings Cross in a quiet area. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The night receptionist was kind enough to print out a ticket that I needed, and they were happy to look after my luggage for a few hours after I checked out. I was very happy with the service.

There was no breakfast included with my booking. I stayed two nights, and had stayed here previously. The bed was very comfortable and the staff were friendly and professional. After checkout I had a few hours to kill before an evening flight and could leave my luggage there to pick up later. Room was okay size, but not much space for clothing. The bathroom was clean and functional. The shower didn’t have much pressure but was still okay. There is a lift to all floors, and I was on the top floor.I would be happy to stay here again.

Alright. Do you get what you pay for (considering current London prices) ? Yes, you do. for approx. 70 GBP per night, this place is at a great location, the room is functional (albeit beaten up and old), it was clean and humble, and it did the job. Stuff was chill, and I believe they would have solved any issues if I had any, but I can't tell for sure. WiFi at great speed for hotel standards, exceeded all expectations on that front, and allowed me to stream + videocall and work at the same time.

Second time staying here, and just as nice as the first. The room was clean as was the bathroom, the shower hot with plenty of water. The room boasts a large TV, comfy bed and a decent quantity of Tea, coffee, milk and sugar. The guy at Reception was really polite and even gave us early check-in as a room was ready and we had a show at 2.30pm. Location was ideal as five mins walk to St Pancras.
